International Foundation for Educational Services was a unique entity of its kind and is headquartered in the UK ,There were no institutions of any profit or non-profit organization that aims to develop academic and vocational education and certified on the basis of scientific and evolving process.

After many years has expanded the ( IFES ) and now has several branches throughout the Middle East.??

For example, there are branches in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Algeria, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iran, Syria, Sudan and Tunisia.

??In order to motivate the international community to look at the culture of quality education and to be a tool to improve and renew the education of all elements of the material and methodology, educational, scientific, and promote a culture of awareness of vocational education and distance education.

Foundation objectives:

Evolution of the International Foundation educational quality in order to achieve the best possible performance and rely on a huge group of researchers, scholars, and use many of the scientific and practical experiences and a number of quantitative and qualitative tools to measure the improvement in the quality of education to achieve the desired goals.

The Foundation aims to develop and follow-up of educational processes in all parts of the world and in all disciplines and monitoring of educational quality for all educational institutions sponsored by the Foundation in terms of both academics and lecturers, or in terms of educational materials and their conformity with the reality of scientific and practical, or in terms of the educational institution providing the educational services??.

????? The Foundation aims to ensure the quality of education and continuous development through:??

1.??Awareness of the culture of quality education.
2.??Coordination with educational institutions to ensure access to an integrated system of standards and rules of comparisons of the development and performance measurement mechanisms guided by international standards and not inconsistent with the identity of the community.
3.??Support the capabilities of the educational institutions to carry out self evaluation.
4.??Confirm the trust at the local, regional and international outputs of the educational process, not conflicting with the identity of the community.
5.??Carry out the comprehensive calendar for educational institutions and programs in accordance with the standards and standard-based learning for each stage and each type of educational institutions.

Foundation History:

was founded by university scholars and researchers who saw the need for an independent, free-standing Foundation that could bring together academics and teachers, business and community leaders, creative artists, and talented researchers to achieve reform of Vocational and academic education. That collaborative, inclusive spirit has remained a guiding force through the years, producing a distinctive working style.

At its founding, IFES
was unique. There were no federally funded regional laboratories and centers or other nonprofit
(or, for that matter) profit-making research and development organizations working broadly on issues of national and international import in education.

???s appearance on the scene coincided with a growing national investment in the education sector. From its beginnings, this institution was designed to fill the distinctive roles of catalyst, experimenter, and developer and to be an instrument for improvement and renewal.

As scholar and educator Andre Nantel said,

???(IFES )?? started off like so much does in UK . . . in response to a gaps in education.???

Jerrold Zacharias, an eminent physics professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, brought together a group of some of the nation???s top scientists, teachers, and technical specialists to develop a new high school physics curriculum, PSSC Physics. This curriculum, funded by the National Science Foundation, focused on science as the product of experiment and theory, constructed by real people. IFES??introduced it successfully in schools across the country and eventually in many parts of the world.

In the decades following
,?? ??IFES??expanded to include projects addressing many of the major education, health, and social challenges facing our society.IFES ?????s interdisciplinary social sciences program Man: A Course of Study won numerous awards, and the African Primary Science Program provided training and materials for schools in 11 African countries.

??developed projects in the areas of child development, gender equity, cross-cultural understanding, health promotion, substance abuse, violence prevention, and institutional development. At the same time, IFES ??created an expanding range of educational tools, from videotapes to computer software. And?? IFES ?????s international work expanded beyond basic education to focus on community health, nutrition, economic development, and civil societies. Our programs are never designed solely by researchers; they reflect the ideas and work of practitioners and the interests and concerns of learners. We develop programs in partnership with the people who will use them and balance their diverse viewpoints and expertise. While we maintain a strong tradition of creating innovative curricula and resources for students, teachers, and practitioners, we have learned that good materials cannot succeed in isolation. Now more than ever, we are contributing to comprehensive solutions to complex problems.
